Baltimore

Off to Baltimore for the weekend, Michael and Andrew went to the Oriel's game Friday night, complete with 20 minutes of fireworks.  11:20pm bedtime didn't phase him one bit.

Meanwhile, back in the tent at Grandma's...

Beautiful weather for June.....low temps & humidity, nice breeze...

 ...Perfect for kayaks and crabs

Three more houses up across the river.

The fishing never tires, and never fails to produce.
 Oh, my heart...
 ...may just burst.

Brothers - Andrew sweetly embraces his lead role.

First Swim Meet

Well, you'd never know by the looks on their faces below or the ribbons they racked up that they were diagnosed with strep and an ear infection the night before their first meet (last week)!

Team Cheer

Andrew was so sweetly excited that after three years on the team, Margaret was finally old enough to compete (must be 5 by June 1).  He was talking (non-stop) about how fun it is to swim meets and not just be there.  His words made me want to dive in again!

Best coaches

First relay---Cute onlookers:-)

Sweet girls, precious relay.
First race of the season, first heat winner.  Andrew was curious how he'd swim tonight compared with the end of last season when he'd been working hard for months.  A wise comment.  In all of his races, he at least tied or exceeded his times from last year, some significantly.

Next week, we block...since she's been jumping off of them since she was 2!

Just out from his long free (50 for 7-8's)...and early evening in the unscored season opener against a small team....the sky's not even dark yet!
