Very grateful that Em twisted my arm and encouraged me to get out to Colorado during my favorite month of the year.  A wonderful few days away, time with Mom and Dad (who were quite surprised!), and seeing more of Emily's life in Vail.

Margaret's 9!!!

We blinked and one sassy little girl "that's just got somethin'!" turned 9! How grateful we are for our precocious Margaret.

Birthday donuts on the way to school!

And donuts for the whole HUGE class. 

While Margaret and her friends had cake for breakfast after the sleepover, we started celebrating dear Molly's 14th birthday - there has never been a sweeter, more patient gal.  

A birthday make-over was quite the project but turned out well!

Wintergreen hosted an outdoor Sound of Music---the full musical on a mountainside!  Escorted to our seats by a chair lift with singing nuns, have to say that was a first!

 We couldn't find mischievous Kurt...

Of course nighttime photography doesn't do it justice, but the entire production was unbelievable...the cast was spot on and the chilly evening was delightful.  

Only regret is that we didn't choose a matinee, because the scenery was spectacular!  A friend sent me this....the end of the show as they begin their trek from Austria to Switzerland!
