The New Year was off to a chilly start with our second Polar Plunge at Lake Renovia, courtesy of Meghan and Greg Streight. Michael took the plunge last year, but as easy-going as Wolanski is about healthy pregnancies, I'm guessing he would have frowned on the activity in the last weeks of pregnancy. So with Matthew getting me off the hook in 2013, I promised Michael I would join him in 2014. After all, you can do most anything after a few glasses of champagne before noon, right?!? It truly wasn't that bad. Next year's challenge? To plunge like a real woman without long pants and long sleeves. At least I didn't try to get away with my triathlon wetsuit!
