May was just TOO big!

May was a BIG month, even after Michael's big 4-0.  After seeing The Sound of Music at our local high school the same week he did a basketball camp coached by UVA players, Andrew is now singing "Raindrops on Roses" and doing UVA cheers in his room in the morning.  Michael is not amused:)

ACAC hosted a 4-day basketball clinic coached by UVA players.  They were AWESOME with the kids all week and provided a really wonderful clinic.  The funniest part, though, was the last night when the kids cheered them into dunking.  Be sure to watch the second video, of one of the ACC's top players this year!

When I could no longer keep Matthew off of the basketball court, we relocated to "The Big Room".  Matthew didn't hesitate a moment to follow Margaret up into the tubes, where he proceeded to wonder around for 30 minutes!  And let me tell you that those tubes are hot and tight and NOT meant for adults to be retrieving happy little 15-month-olds!

Emily came to visit, so we took her to Fridays after Five for the concert on the downtown mall.  Saturday morning there was a regatta on the river just north of "the meadow" behind our neighborhood.  We were possibly the only cheering squad on the river for the canoes and kayak that were on their 6-mile trek, but it was good old fashioned, muddy fun!

Tuesday mornings are for Margaret, so Little Man gets dragged around until he drops...literally.  I retrieved him from the car and put him down to make lunch---don't think he was too concerned about eating or waiting for his crib.

What little girl doesn't need a pink soccer ball from Grandma???

And what little girl doesn't need to nap on the hardwood in the hallway?

"When Children Rule the World!"

In a meeting at church, just before Margaret hijacked the guitar to sing Edelweiss with Pastor Tom.  Classic moment.

Playing before church in my favorite outfit---so serious!

Celebrating policemen biking to Fairfax.  Thanks for ALL that you do!

We have babies again, and I'm staying FAR away.  Too many babes under our deck the past few years have fallen victim to my curiosity.

Mother's Day!  How very, very blessed I am:)
Thanks be to God, and the little nugget to catch in each picture of the series.

Andrew (6), Margaret (3.5), Matthew (15 months)

To be continued...
