Holy Week

As much as we enjoy Lent and the additional Wednesday services Meadows offers to prepare our hearts for Good Friday, nothing breaks my serious spirit like the kids on Palm Sunday.  Perhaps it's compounded by Michael's story of a palm branch beating when he was young, or the way our Pastor in Denver so robotically waves his arm during "All Glory, Laud, and Honor", but the scene simply brings a chuckle to my heart.

Margaret sums it up!

Matthew's first rodeo....perfect Little Man just followed the crowd.

Something about this...makes me want to kiss his sweet little eyelids.

"A-wey-oooo-yah.  A-wey-ooooo-yah."

The beautiful nativity dress that I could NOT talk her into wearing during advent was suddenly her favorite dress on Palm Sunday.  I'll take it for Christmas' book-end holiday!

Patience with Palms pays off with prized egg hunts.

Yep, Mom forgot to bring your handsome basket.

 If only we could hear...

It only took six shots to get all three heads out of their baskets for 0.2 seconds!

And the hunts continued!
Can't get enough of the amazement with a 2-yr-old.
Next one, school for this handsome fellow.

He will hate me one day for documenting the pink ears that Miss Hope and Miss Winn put on him, but I don't care.

 TOO much TWO-ness

See the one lonely pop in his basket?  There were firemen at this hunt with a basket of pops.  They tried to offer Matthew one.  He attempted to exchange the full basket of pops for his empty basket. Clever kid.

 "Is it time yet?"

Ding, Ding!  Round 4!
