Last winter, with Tom's blessing, I launched "Simple Suppers" at church to precede our long lasting tradition of Wednesday night services during Advent and Lent. The suppers and services were so well attended that Staff decided to add four weeks of fall programming with supper as well. Given the new concept, we didn't know what to expect, but all were very well received, averaging 60 folks each week! It was a very intimate time of inter-generational fellowship that was priceless.
God is working on Andrew in ways that I could never even have prayed. He keeps his AWANA book and Bible open on his desk and without any prompting, diligently works on new verses after bedtime.
