Spring Break Tour

Our spring break tour began in Baltimore with Grandma, but evidently it was so quick we didn't document it!  She has a beautiful new dock we enjoyed and of course Andrew and I stayed up until nearly midnight watching Carolina win the NCAA.  We had hoped for a good game, and a good game we got.

Stop #2 was back home to cook for Simple Supper at church on Wednesday night.  The kids have our 4-5 hour evenings down!  After setting the tables for me, there's basketball in the parking lot, baseball in the field, or the playground.  They've got themselves covered while I cook!

Stop #3 was Winston-Salem to see Lalu and Big Rob...or Krispie Kreme and Big Orange....not sure which they favor more, but they sure do love it there:-)  Another cold and wet spring break, we headed to the mall for some entertainment and learned that Doug had accepted a new coaching job at UNC-W!

Stop #4 - Richmond...for "fire sauce", a UofR baseball game for Andrew and putt-putt for M and M!

Fire Cooking - my boys are obsessed with Granddaddy's fire sauce....making it AND eating it on steak! .

Dying eggs, again...and in their great, great grandmother's coffee mugs and hand-made aprons (obviously not handmade by Dody:-) ). Both Grandmothers are the best!

Margaret got a hole-in-one!

Granddaddy doing what grandparents do best---gettin' the kiddos all wound up right before bed:-)  It is so very hard to resist this laugh...

Thankful for the folks in our lives that make room for us to pop in whenever we're able to get away from school, church and activities.
