Newseum Function and Indigo Girls

School not quite out, but hopped up to DC for a work event.  Many thanks to Anne for keeping the kiddos overnight, which allowed me to see this picture in her place.  Alex and Andrew were oh, so very little!

So this happened....an incredible fundraising evening of dinner, dance, and silent auction with Michael's client (Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington).  Great to meet some of the other parties with whom he works, even if the evening did go on entirely too long.

...And then THIS happened.  Thank you dishonest valet.  That would be yet another deductible out of our pockets this month, another massive repair to undertake during our already crammed summer.  And, yes.  This is the second time that one of our cars has been hit in a parking garage with no note left.

Four Voice in C'ville---Indigo Girls, Mary Chapman Carpenter, and Joan Boaz----with four amazing friends.  Clearly a politically motivated show with Joan leading the march, it was still amazing music.
