Two Nights in DC

Michael's client invited us again to their hospital center's annual fundraising event, Music and Medicine.  Last year was an amazing evening at the Newseum downtown.  This year was in an entirely too small auditorium venue, but still a great (LONG) evening with colleagues and clients.

The new Warf area downtown is a beautiful, fun, walkable area -
great area to stay!

The Trump International Hotel is a simply beautiful lounge and bar area.  It was nice to see Rudy Giuliani engaging a 10-11 year old boy who asked for a selfie:-)

Unfortunately, the food stations this year made zero sense, had no space and long lines with no place to go, but it was this "character" that we really didn't know what to do with!

We were blessed by a wonderful tour of the Museum of the Bible Saturday morning.  A beautiful building, thoughtfully constructed and laid out, we highly recommend a visit to anyone.

The Warf's Seafood Market is something else----pretty impressive.

The Warf after a delicious French Bistro dinner and comedy show in Dupont Circle - fun to watch the Stanley Cup finals outside with a huge crowd!

Thank you, Susan, for holding down the fort!  Final memory, of course, was my car being damaged by Valet AGAIN - How does lightening strike TWICE in the exact same way?!? Praying we can get the to pay for it this time!
