After pealing Margaret (and her Mom!) away from camp, we headed 45 minutes into Pisgah National Forest for another dip into Sliding Rock Falls. First stop was a quick overview of Looking Glass Falls.
When they say it's cold, they're not exaggerating! 55 degrees is most certainly a shock to the system.
Mom goes once----gotta check the "Fun Mom" box, right?! And I'm always glad I do. The plunge truly takes your breath away, but it's a whole lot of fun:-)

Now off to Elk River, "our" mountains. Not a bad day, when the day has to start with leaving Greystone.
