Where did April go?

Between work hours increasing 50% due to COVID-19 related issues and homeschooling endeavors, the hours of the day remain fully occupied, they just look (and sound) different than our previous normal.  (We really could do without all of the chatter from people claiming boredom---not really helpful or comforting to working, homeschooling parents.)

While we have been fully engaged in the ministries and activities at Olivet (where Mom works), we were missing our Meadows church friends, so kicked off a family Zoom series (after hosting two Moms-only meetings).  The kids ran with it, recording a clever invitation and leading the group in a fun scavenger hunt and hysterical game of Quarantine "Would you rather?"

A blast from an April past---Andrew's 3rd grade poem.

We do puzzles every Christmas, so Michael gave me this one from a Barcelona Park to get us excited for our 15th anniversary trip!  With COVID-19 turning everything upside down, our new goal was to finish before we went.  We have built in "creative time" on the schedule daily, and puzzling is perfect for that some days.  On a dark and stormy night, we were all giddy to finish!

OH, my goodness...this girl!

It's not as if nothing else happened in April, but it's the work-in-progress "Corona Time" post that has all of the other happenings.  May will need to shift back to regular timely posts, since it's clear "Corona Time" is not ending anytime soon:-(

"Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion which cannot be moved, but abides forever.
As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people,
from this time forth and forevermore."
Psalm 125: 1-2
