Our usual "Mayhem" has morphed into creative ways of doing, well, ALL of it. Everything is online now. Creative in some ways, too much in others, it's now just as occupying as life was before, just not driving.
Our annual fundraising event in DC turned into a "Party in a box". Gotta give their marketing team credit for coming up with something after folks had donated $5-10,000/table to attend.
May 3 was packed with our "Drive-By" Awards Ceremony and Dad's birthday celebration.
After participating in AWANA since Pre-K, Andrew officially finished the program. Receiving his Timothy Award, it meant that he had memorized around 600 verses over the last 7+ years. While we couldn't celebrate him in person with his teachers and friends, First Baptist did the very best they could....and offered Andrew an extra award, too, for his leadership, faithfulness and independent devotion to the program. There are no words for how proud we are of his attitude towards putting scripture on his heart.
The end of year AWANA video includes some folks we all know!
Powerwashed deck, furniture and pergola for a week, now ready to enjoy birthday dinner!
Margaret LOVES Dad's new drone.
Sharing our beach s'mores and ghost stories with friends, 6' away.
Piano teacher Mrs. Anderson's son, Michael, did a wonderful job with our virtual piano recital in lieu of the normal performances in PVCC's huge auditorium. Considering he no
experience with sort of editing and a quick decision to do this, we were thoroughly impressed! He gave the kids license to perform however they'd like, so it was fun to see what some came up with. I do
recommend watching the first minute of each video and the end. He's
done a good job setting up each one and throwing in some fun at the
end.

played. "A Summer Night" (young man in a navy hoody) is a self-composed
piece). And there's an enjoyable ending!
And after a tile debacle too twisted to spend even another moment now writing about it, our kitchen facelift is finally finished! What a difference a color-scheme change makes!
