There's never been any doubt that Matthew is ALL boy,
but a picture can be worth 1,000 words!
Oh, the wait for the classroom door to open...
Brotherly love
Mom and Dad asked all four daughters to meet in Richmond for the afternoon to divvy up loads of things they simply didn't need (or want!) anymore. I thought the volume of table linens they had on display was overwhelming until I saw the room of dolls. Oh. My. Word. There were dozens and dozens...of each size! Little china dolls. Madame Alexander dolls. Matching twin dolls. Scarlet....pick your size of Scarlet. It went on and on and on. Guess that's what happens when you raise four girls during the 70's and 80's when collectables were a big deal!
I had to laugh uploading these because Matthew has gotten SOOO much faster, and added his own commentary.
Kid has a need for speed! Love the "woo-hoo's"!

"What??? It's time to go play golf."
"Dunk, Mommy! Dunk!"
Margaret's 4-week lax clinic.
Andrew's friend from China was only here for his Dad's 6-month stint at UVA. I didn't realize he was leaving until Andrew showed me this... (tears!)
"Show me your muscles, Margaret..."
I look miserable, but it was actually really quite fun! Lots of live music on the course and enthusiastic spectators with "Yep, I'm a random stranger cheering you on!" signs.
Ready, set, go!
Photo bomb! GNO with Bob:)
We heard the distinguished Phillip Yancey (author of so many solid Christian reads, such as What's So Amazing about Grace?) speak at UVA. Andrew was a trooper to sit through with us, and listened, too.
Date Night!
Pork, kale chips and potatoes. Happy boys makes for one ELATED mom!
That's my girl, just being precious in her hand-me-down blue jumper,
waiting for a ride.
Gotta teach 'em early to get their own bikes back up the hill!
62. Yep.
A trip to the fire department...just 'cause.
