Celebrating 7 !!!!

Today we celebrated Andrew's upcoming 7th birthday with lots of not-so-little boys!   We had planned to take them to the UVA-Cornell lax game, until we got 6" of snow 36 hours prior.  But knowing the head of the ground maintenance crew helped us get up to speed at 6:30am on the change of venue.  So the dry, blue turf field it was...

 

 6 seven year olds, a 4.5 year old not so sure about live games, and a 2-yr-old not fond of sitting still = front row with a guard rail was crucial! 

 

 

Experimental ice cream cupcakes worked brilliantly!

Andrew: 

"A loose ball, guys...feel free to pick it up! Ground balls!  Ground balls!"  

"You can't be a lacrosse player if you don't use teamwork on passes."

 

 

 

Bikes and plasma cars join the fun.

"Up. Up.  I want Up."  He doesn't get that I'm too short to "up" him all the way.
