May

May was full, full, full...
Full of smiles and proud moments, but tears behind Mommy's sunglasses.

If you've been a parent of school-aged children (and yes, preschool counts in this regard!), then you know what May is---a unique force to be tackled quite unlike any other.  So, no.  Weekly, manageable posts did not happen.  I can always dream for June, right?  When everyone is out of school and with me ALL.THE.TIME.???

Lots of pics, but stick with it for the most beautiful at the end.

I'm not sure who loves Miss Winn more...Matthew or Mommy:)
Thankful we still get to see her at church!

Mrs. Buford was Andrew's 3-yr-old teacher, but moved to Pre-K for Margaret's class.  LOVED her for this age!

The very best of friends - I am beyond blessed with the authentic, devoted friendship of this crew.  God knew what He was doing when we brought us altogether.

The neighbors got a new puppy, and Matthew simply cannot giggle enough over Zoe (or walk her, apparently)!

Ready for our Church Family Playdate!

A few spouses missing and two families on photography, but a worthy gathering none the less!

Look at the inside of, "Are You My Mother?" I'm gonna go ahead and blame this DECADES overdue book on Uncle Steve.  He may have to sell the farm for pay this fine.

Best DAD

One never knows what Margaret is going to be wearing for playtime.

Matthew's end of the year school party was at a classmate's beautiful property in Ivy.  He and I only got lost once in the play "wing".

Decent goalie already...thought it's frowned upon by big brother when he makes a good stop.

Bubble-Down-Day at Fairview...a simply amazing process.

Saying "Hi" to Daddy before church as he was away opening his Preston Memorial Hospital in WV.

AWANA Awards Night!  So proud of Margaret's final year as a Cubby and Andrew's second years in Sparks.  They have both worked hard to memorize dozens of scripture, the 23rd Psalm, books of the Old and New Testament, etc....many, many things that I surely have never accomplished.

"Our God is a Great Big God!.....and He knows us and He loved us since before the world began...How wonderful and beautiful is God's amazing plan!"

C'mon, Little Man!  You can do it!

I would die and go to Heaven if every morning started like this...
Andrew reading to Margaret in bed.

Time for Sunday afternoon Polo with church friends!

First full-family camping adventure was a HUGE success!  Matthew was up three times stumbling around disoriented, but other than that, all was well from 10pm - 6am.  BUT, they were fully ready to play soccer and swing and everything else at 6am, sweet ideas we had to squash to salvage our friendships with the neighbors.

I LOVE how this kid can sleep in 1,000 positions...legs dangled off the bed, legs bent b/w the bed and the wall, hands behind the head or in the pants...anything goes.  It matters not to me, now that he is finally sleeping well.  Whew - what a first two years it was!

Swim lessons with head coach JJ...a Killian tradition.

Woodbrook Field Day - Station 12.

Something tells me we're gonna skip training wheels...the kid's got balance.

Our first venture to Adventure Farm---STUNNING setting, wine tasting, live music, pond, game area....a beautiful Friday evening tradition.
