Pre-K Graduation

The end of an error is difficult when it has been a tremendous experience for both parent and child, regardless of how exciting the next chapter to come is.  Our whole family has embraced First Pres Preschool with a love I didn't expect for simply preschool.  But Little Miss Margaret has simply rocked it.  She has owned the school, her teachers, her friends, her "academic work", art projects, singing and everything else.  It has been exactly the journey you would dream for your child and we are so very grateful.

Down the center aisle of First Presbyterian Church's Sanctuary, here she comes!

The most precious songs you've ever heard:
"We Are The Pre-K"
"5 Plump Peas"
"Make New Friends"
"Kindergarten, Here We Come"

"...So long, Pre-K, it's been fun!  Kindergarten, here we come!"

Exactly how Mommy feels....proud and excited, but a bit sad, too!

Receiving her first (of many?) diplomas from Mrs. Moon.

The best big brother I can imagine, the 1st grader that specifically asked to go to graduation so that he wouldn't miss his little sister's big morning.

Our beloved director, Donna Buchanan, on her 60th birthday.  Loved that the whole sanctuary sang to her!

Too grown up!

My handsome fellas

And...the quest to get "that" shot...

After we told Matthew that school was over for the year and that he couldn't go back until September...

So glad Grandma was here.

"Be still my heart."
After Margaret's graduation, which Andrew begged to attend, even though it meant missing school.

Mrs. Buford!  A fabulous 3-yr-old teacher for Andrew, and wonderful in Pre-K for Margaret.

And Mrs. Moon...here's to hoping she's still teaching Pre-K in 3 years so they can all three have her.

Kohr Brothers - our Pre-K Graduation tradition.
