This is so outdated now, it's hardly even worth posting! What a difference a month or so makes!
Andrew's Christmas fish made it part-way through March madness. We may have accidentally killed them ourselves attempting to properly clean the tank, but the point is how sweetly Andrew handled it, praying for each one before we said goodbye.
Asked to speak at School-Wide-Morning-Meeting about being a Trailblazer.
Making cupcakes at sweet Annabelle's 5th birthday party! Happy to have her back in the neighborhood this month:)
Few things make me smile more...(leaning how to face-off)
Their collective favorite, "All Creatures of our God and King"....
"Ah-way-woo-ya. Ah-way-woo-ya."
Good grief. 7 or 37?? Obsessed with the sports page.
Momma bird in ONE of our nests is always eyeing us suspiciously.
Racing, racing, racing!!!
One never knows what Margaret will be wearing for any activity, or how many layers may be involved.
Reading Easter stories to M&M - can't ask for better car entertainment than on the way to Baltimore.
Our own little "Tutu Project", overlooking the river from Grandma's deck.
Yep, he stayed up until 11:30pm (and did. not. stop. talking!) watching his Blue Devils win it all! This kid was delightfully obsessed all season with Jahil Okafor, Quinn Cook, Tyus Jones, Justice Winslow and Grayson Allen, "who combs his hair like I do!". What a fun season to watch with him.
This cheerleader, on the other hand, did NOT stay up until 11:30pm.
Soaking in the Baltimore Aquarium with Grandma.
Monkeys!
A poison dart frog, Andrew's spring research project.
The dolphins put on a fabulous show for us.
Only a week late, they waited, waited, and waited for their dyed eggs.
A boy and his dog (30 minutes later, he would wake up screaming, "No, Moh-wee, no! Move!!!"
Nope, not gonna happen yet. But at least he sat. It is a very comfortable potty:)
Before (dull, boring entry)....
2 hours in....
AFTER...4 hours alone in the house with no one but Molly. Some contrast! Some color! Some happiness!
The bag of trash and equally high stack of books came from under Margaret's bed. Concerned we may have a hoarder on our hands.
But then she does "this" and I can't be mad....
This has been the spring of races....anyone on a bike will do!
The Charlottesville ballet came to preschool. M&M both loved it!
Andrew's research project on the Poison Dart Frog and its habitat.
Babies! Due to our prior, terrible experiences, I'm trying to give them space. But I haven't seen anyone fly. Will check the nest again soon.
Obsessed with watching Daddy mow the lawn...
...or play with leaves...
Spring playdates with Katie!
Gulliver! Just as when Andrew was in Pre-K, "Gulliver travelled" home with Margaret for the night. What fun we had reading books, riding bikes, swinging, and sleeping with sweet Gulliver.
And then the Cville Ballet went to Woodbrook, too!
Beautiful spring evenings in the Meadow behind our 'hood.
The soccer field
Uncle Ern and Shirley came all the way from Asheville to visit!
Matthew loved skyping with 2nd cousin Charlie, about 9 months younger.
Clearly, Andrew and Margaret took a long time to warm up to our company...
Happy Birthday, Daddy! We don't hold back on candles....happy to celebrate each and every birthday. And blessed with these three kiddos, until the sugar hits their veins.
Matthew pulled up this chair, climbed right in, and watched by himself for a while, proclaiming with each made shot, "Good job, Di-dew. Good job.".
All smiles when with "my people".
Oh, the shades just make it, don't they??
Always look nice day 1. Always need prayers to make it to July 4th!
