The Spring of Performances

This spring was marked by many tremendous performances.  Michael opened Preston Memorial Hospital in Kingwood, West Virginia.  His 4th critical access hospital in five many years, it was a "great accomplishment", in the words of a colleague.

Unbeknownst to us, Andrew tried out for a speaking part in the Kindergarten/1st grade annual spring musical and landed the lead role!  "Herb, the Gardener" was a funny little character and we were SO proud of Andrew's diligence in memorizing his plethora of lines---and in less than a week!  He had three performances in front of several hundred people each and seemed to embrace the situation.  He did not get that confidence from his mother!

Little Miss stayed after preschool one day a week to work with the "Pea Pod Players".  Miss Melanie helped them put on a precious performance.

For the day-2 performance, I managed to get her hair pulled back---MUCH better.
